Jasmin Salome Baumgartner – Class of 2016
NHC Alumna from the class of 2016, Jasmin, has shared her memories of North Hertfordshire College to help us celebrate our 35th birthday.
Check out what she told us below:
“I studied Childcare, Theatrical and Media Makeup, and Beauty Therapy at North Hertfordshire College from 2013 to 2016. I’m now working as a Space and Community Manager at Impact Hub Zurich.
“Despite my current role being different to what I studied at NHC, I write short stories in English using the skills I gained while studying in the UK. I’m hoping to be published soon! NHC helped me realise the importance of being on time, friendly, and open to trying new things, which I regularly do in my current role.
“One of my favourite memories of NHC has to be the people. I’ve never met more open-minded, friendly, and full-of-life people than those at North Hertfordshire College. The tuna melts at Hitchin were a big highlight for me, too!
“I’d like to give a huge shout out to Tracey; she was a brilliant tutor! I loved going to Beauty Therapy classes with her, she was so kind and patient.”
