Jerry Hall - Class of 1977
Jerry completed Catering and Retail Studies and his O Levels at North Hertfordshire College between 1974 to 1977. Since then, Jerry has established a successful career in magazine publishing.
As part of our 35th birthday celebrations, Jerry got in touch with us to share some of his favourite memories of his time studying at NHC, or as it was then known, Hitchin College!

“As well as O Levels, my time at North Hertfordshire College equipped me with a load of important life skills.
“After transitioning from a boys’ school environment, starting college helped me come to life! I met all sorts of different people and made lots of friends. I loved all the sports, especially football. Plus, we met girls for basically the first time!
“I’d like to give a shout out to David Kinnersley and Ron Wells. I’d also like to recognise possibly the most influential and loudest of the lot, Melyvn Butcher.”
